Soft core is the mainstream approach I just mentioned-- where the End Times are a vague prophesy, not a specific prediction. They believe the Bible quote that no one knows the day and hour of Jesus' return. The hard core believers are- well, we have a friend who's a leader in his Plymouth Brethren Church, and it is a science for them. Every stage has a specific order and duration and they have it all worked out. Hardcore are the ones who immediately proclaimed the beginning of the Apocalypse when the towers fell.
