As I said, we'll have to agree to disagree. You seem to be trying to reach for some ground beyond that. I don't recognize it. I understand why you don't read Krugman. It's your loss but there it is. I don't read Krauthaummer (sp??). And don't consider it a loss but there are no doubt many who would. I don't think there's anything faulty about that. If you do, I'll listen to your arguments. Perhaps we should both chuckle over the condescension in those two sentences. As for the dissertation on different constructs, again, I see that you don't read Krugman. Fine. We all have our taste preferences. But the writing is hardly "flappy." You don't read him so you haven't read his work on health care insurance and on social security issues. As for his criticisms of Bush, they are mild set alongside the general run of criticisms of both sides in punditry land.
