I was not responding to what you wanted to say.

I was only making a small point about the risk of conflating born agains and those whose belief in the apocalypse is such that affects their actions, all that being in the context of it affecting Bush's beliefs and actions.

Any argument about what you wanted to say is incidental IMO although I will try to accommodate you if something about that is important to you.
