The piper for easy money policies is being paid as we speak: high inflation, destruction of savings, housing affordability at record lows, overbuilding, declining quality, speculation, lower living standards, massive misallocation of capital, destruction of the middle class, soaring taxes, soaring commodity prices, bogus statistics creating myriad of distortions and i could go on.

The world economy is totally distorted with interest rates below inflation, soaring money supply, 2% real estate cap rates, artificial demand creating excess capacity along with destruction of environment in Asia etc.
