CYMER INC had 1,198,178 short interest in Sept compared with 2,603,534 in Auguest for a month
over month decline of -54.0%. Average daily volume
during the past month was 3,334,693.

Unless the shorts have attacked with renewed vigor
since September 16th, they don't appear to be much of
a factor at this time.
