I have owned HP since 1980 or so... I've cut way back since not working there but I still have a decent position.

In the 1987 bear market, it took 7 years for HP to pass its pre bear market high once and for all.

We are now 6+ years past its last bull market high... it will be interesting to see if it can get anywhere near its pre 2002 bear market high, adjusting for spinoffs, at the 7 year mark.
