"And these "new" conservative don't have a clue that they are really liberals." They are liberal in the sense they want to use the power of the government to effect change. They part with traditional liberals in that they don't really believe in bettering the average persons life. And they definitely are "the ends justifies the means" and "you have to break some eggs to make an omelette" types. They aren't really conservatives or liberals.
