Definitely, the UN and the west created Israel in a place that insured conflict.

And what about Lebanon? Syria claims Lebanon as part of "greater syria".

If the UN is impotent in resolving the current Lebanese crisis, then why should it matter if they were involved in the partitioning of Trans-Jordan into Palestine, with both a Jewish and Palestinian sub-partition...

The Jews elected to proclaim their independence from British rule and establishment of a state.

The Palestinians could have done the same thing, but they opted to permit themselves to be annexed by Jordan.

In sum, whether via the League of Nations, or the United Nations, EVERY COUNTRY that was formally part of the Ottoman empire was created by those two international organizations.

Let me repeat that:

EVERY COUNTRY Noel!!! EVERY FRIGGIN' COUNTRY, FORMERLY RULED BY THE TURKISH OTTOMAN EMPIRE WAS CREATED EITHER BY THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS, OR THE UNITED NATIONS.

Show me one of those country, formerly part of the Ottoman Empire, that WASN'T created by some form of international consensus in the LON or UN.
