They do not have to vow it, they are doing it. There is a saying that goes like this "Do not be afraid of a barking dog, but be very afraid a venoms snake." The Arabs barking is harmless.
I'm sorry.. I think you need to rethink your "sayings".
Because you see, barking dogs are warning signs of an inner desire for aggression and a desire to destroy something that it PERCEIVES as a threat, but really isn't (since most snakes feed on rats and mice).
The snake, on the other hand, only uses its venom to obtain food, or in self-defense. You'll seldom see a snake strike at anything that it perceives is threatening it. Its venom is too valuable, and takes too long to replace, to be wasted.
But look what happens when a dog corners a snake and starts barking at it.
The barking dog is likely to be bit, and suffer a painful death as a result.
Beware, oh barking dogs, you've made the snake coil and strike back. And if you back it into a corner, with no retreat, it will eventually strike home and you will suffer a VERY painful death. And this particular snake has sufficient venom to inflict a painful death upon the entire "pack".
The moral of the story should be that a barking dog should keep it's mouth shut and leave the snake alone. Because it just isn't worth suffering the consequences.
