Now that snake proved to a weak and harmless snake and the dog will have to eat the snake or harm it so it does not rear it head again. However, that snake has friends in high places but those friends will abandon the snake to keep their interest intact.

That snake has struck and failed to inject sufficient venom to ward your barking dogs off THIS TIME.

Do you really want to risk giving it the opportunity to provide a fatal strike?

Do you really think the Israelis are just going to permit your pack of barking dogs to exterminate it without reciprocating in kind?

Is it worth the deaths of hundreds of millions of Arabs to mess with the snake that just wants to be left alone?

The Snake has given you a warning, and were I this particular snake, surrounded as it is by barking dogs vowing their intent to kill it, I would think it were time to send the message that if the snake dies, it's going to ensure that everyone who perpetrated, or facilitated its death, accompanies it to "hell".

This is a fool's game your dogs are playing.

And it isn't worth risking the death of a large portion of your entire "pack" merely to aggravate and kill one lonely snake.
