David, your scenario is the same as I had been following, but it seems to be no longer valid. If we are in a putative "c" of the "b" on your SPX chart, then the top of the 1 of "c" on 7/20 @1262.56 was overlapped by the bottom of the 4 of "c" on 8/10 @ 1261.30. Does this overlap not concern you?
