The recent fall of Cerner shares has been perplexing in the absence of any press releases or news and considering the recent coverage initiated or reinstated by two brokerage houses. The recovery of three points today (9/24) on strong volume is a positive. I can only guess that the price decline was institutional selling to lock in profits before the end of the third quarter, rather than the possibility of a earnings shortfall announcement in about 3 weeks. There was an upgrade by Lehman Brothers today which likely helped today's advance. Bill Turnage
