Henry, Based upon the upfront cash payments, Ligand may not worry too much if the ALRI forces hold the LGND stock price down... they use the cash to fund the purchase and then issue stock ( in a secondary) later when value is more appropriate..the handwriting seems to be on the wall, unless Ligand really goes up and then Ligand would use their stock as the medium of payment... I am curious, what do you think Ligand's first pick from the library will be (for the lottery) ?
