Hey Mac: Zona closed at its all time high, as VVUS dropped a point. I think the late selling could have been all the SOES bandits clearing out their holdings before 4 PM. The MMs always warned that you bandits will ruin the stockmarket. I guess the intraday gains you bandits cause have a late-day price.

When I examined the situation a little further, I became a bit less worried about a head and shoulders repeat because the short interest now is about 6 million adjusted shares greater than it was in February (shorties had a lot to do with the decline at that time). Also, with back-to-back great quarters, VVUS isn't nearly as speculative an issue as it was at the beginning of the year (so people now are more willing to sit it out rather than snatch a profit).
