Further re: corporate press releases Jim, it is common and routine for "corporate legal" to review and approve press releases not composed by the Office of the General Counsel. With a high degree of probability, the press release under discussion was authored by Nokia`s counsel, as it dealt solely with the procedural and substantive aspects of a recently filed lawsuit, and its historical context. An admission of fact by a lawyer is binding on his/her client.
