Hi Gator, don't really know about the power of the US gov't to ban you from gambling online, I am not American...but to further your research just check out intertops.com (sports book). You can see it's a very professional operation, and there are several others like it. Yet the market has barely begun to roll on this. If you are investing in this you need to think globally. If you're really going to pick up 100K shares then I'd better add my 20K at the open, thanks for the tip. :)

I am not sure I understand how the US gov't can stop casinos/sports books operating offshore from taking bets from US nationals, either by phone or by internet. Impossible. Can anyone know, for example, whether you are phoning your bookie across town? Yes, the bookie can be arrested. But not in Antigua (etc.) where sports books are legal. These sorts of companies will set up their operations such that they are legal.
