Do you THINK Willkie would have had ANY chance at the nomination if MOST Republicans had been adamantly isolationist?????

By the time, Wilkie was nominated the GOP was starting to come around but even then the party was still split about going to war. To their credit, after Pearl Harbor, the GOP became less of a nuisance for FDR with some notable exceptions.
