No. Hezbollah provides the Lebanese people all kinds of social services. Its how they win their hearts and minds. Same with Hamas.

Like Jon Stewart said last night -- "Hezbollah may be a rag-tag militia that uses violence to get what they want, but at least they're not FEMA!"


Yup. They are very good at what they do. FEMA could learn a thing or two.

I think both Hamas and Hezbollah started out as social service agencies that morphed into terrorist groups. But either way, what a clever way to keep the people behind you while you undertake some very questionable, criminal behavior. I am sure there are those who object to Hamas's and Hezbollah's tactics but can't afford to make waves.
