Just wanted to climb the mountain and consult the bhottisatva of Ligand to make sure I had it right. Actually, this should be a longer-term positive for LGND since it cleans up any potential ownership issues, though we'll see how it plays out in the short-term (dilution, loss of arbitrage plays between LGND and ALRT, etc.) On another note, might this be partially a sign of LGND cleaning up its pre-clinical diabetes house to facilitate THE diabetes deal? biowa
