8/18/06 Update
Biotechs had a good week, with the Nasdaq Biotech Index closing Friday down -6.67% YTD (vs. down -10.68% YTD for the NBI on its 8/11/06 close). The median for the 40 Charity Portfolios also gained for the week, and is now down -8.94% YTD (vs. -12.75% YTD at the prior week's close). At Friday's close, 10 of the 40 Charity Portfolios are in the black YTD and 16 of the 40 portfolios are outperforming the NBI.
RKRW's portfolio is still No. 1, closing the week up 27.1% YTD. CYRAN remains in second place, with his portfolio now up 17.2% YTD.
(EPIX was adjusted for the 1-1.5 reverse split.)
