Well, more and more people are coming to see it that way. Even I, who had such hopes for Iraq am beginning to give up. I still hope we can do something for the Kurds though. From everything I read they certainly have their act together. It amazes me the damn Shiites cannot do the same in southern Iraq. If only the north and south were settled and everyone could concentrate on the middle it might still be done. But, Sadr seems to be thwarting that. All Iraqi's ought to hate the guy cause if they slip back into some kind of religious dictatorship like Afghanistan had it will be mostly HIS FAULT. jdn
