In what way? If you are referring to partition, I might agree with you. I think the UN did a very poor job of that, and almost all the grief in the ME since can be traced to the idea of setting up a foreign state in the middle of the Muslim world

It wasn't a MUslim World. it was controlled by London and paris, and before that by the Ottoman empire. The idea of the Jewish state was the same age as any of the present countries.
