EXAMPLE OF PRICE Ts FOR THE TOOL BOX

stockcharts.com

Price Ts are a technical analysis tool used to locate approximate time frames of short term tops and bottoms.

The example above are simple Ts.

The center post that locates the next Top use all tops to do the projection. In fact the center post is started from an up day and not a down day. This is where many technicians make mistakes in using the down day low of the V to start the center post.

I believe all tops should be constructed from tops and the center post should also be an up day.

For finding bottoms use all down days and the center post starts from a down day and usually the bottom of the V that form from a bottom.

Top and bottoms should come approximately in the area an equal distance from the top or the bottom on the left side of the center post.

This gives an approximate time frame, it has a plus or minus although and may not be exactly on time but should be very close.
