Nations of the east are prisoners of the past::

To understand the roots of extremism in Pakistan, one needs to look at the lawless land in the North which forms the core of the political Islam and radicalism of today! These are the lands in the `North´ of the country, these are the places where the hornets nest of the terrorists lies, these are places where humanity would have to join hand to bring them to the civilised society.
