And as for the advertising business open for all ... did you know that after the Oklahoma explosions and before it was found that it was Timothy McVeigh who did, Muslims were denied to express their condolences to the families of the dead ! and they were refused to be allowed to help in the on-going efforts !... WHY, because the community thought that it was a Muslim who did it... so, do you really believe that the media was open or would have been receptive after 9/11?
So, you conclude that that there was the practical impossibility of making their voice heard due to what you perceive as an unyielding, monolithic American media. One the one hand, you say they should have done more; but on the other hand you say they couldn't do more. You cannot put forth both as your defense of their lack of 'organizing a massive media campaign to clarify such issues,' for no one is held accountable to do what they cannot do.
