Eric Bushell, chief investment officer at Toronto-based Signature Funds, said "there are only about 55 to 60 names in Canada that trade more than $10 million a day, and every year about 5 per cent of those disappear.

I call bullshit here. Eric is the lead manager of the Signature Canadian High Income Fund. Canada is in the beginning of a secular bull commodities market. Certainly, some sectors are going to go fallow. Look at history, after WWII Europe was fueled by 220M people demanding resource to rebuild and that boom alone lasted 20 years min. The current boom is being fueled by China AND India with a total population of what???? 2 odd billion souls that are demanding all the goods and services (ergo commodities) that we in the west currently enjoy?? Come on!...I simply cannot believe that a few of the crapola companies mentioned in that article have any merit to what is really happening. I think that that post, even though it may have come from what you purport to be an honourable source is complete and unmitigated bullshit. Eric Bushnell would not dis his own fund and was taken out of context by the crap media that we are force-fed on a daily basis.

Just my 2 cents worth :)
