Pescod on EVR EVERTON RESOURCES (V-EVR) $1.24 -0.04 We spent some time the other day with the smooth-talking Andre Audet, President of Everton Resources and in the beaten up junior mining exploration game, his Everton Resources is one of the few junior mining stocks going the right way. He says it’s because they are busy. In the next two months, they'll have no less than five drilling programs going, two in the Province of Quebec and three in the Dominican Republic and all (we have to admit) in very prospective areas. Whether they hit anything of course, is open to debate, but Audet is confident. The ex-broker calmly says, “Hey, we’re just where Virginia was two years ago with their Eleonore project in Quebec” (it’s right beside the old Virginia project). We would naturally expect a promoter like Audet to tell his own story and tell it well, but sometimes we are even more interested in what an ex-broker like Audet would be suggesting as a stock to follow (not his own), and in this case, he figures it’s a “slam-dunk”. The name is Augyva Mining (AUV) and he is very keen on it, suggesting that unlike so many mining stocks these days, there is almost no shares outstanding (barely 18 million) with several promising projects in Quebec from gold to iron ore to base metals. He thinks results from the company shortly might have more of us paying attention…(or not).
