So some questions arise..
Given an average sich, what is the max exercise and minimal diet you can get away with. This sort of balance is maximally sustainable..
Ans: 500 calorie food reduction, and 500 calories of exercise a day. That is 3 miles of 4 mph walking a day. This has been known for a century. Most people have to work up to this. 5 miles in two tranches is much better. 1.35 hours per day.
But you MUST add phenylalanine, tyrosine, 5-htp, CLA, Green Tea extract, L-arginine-L-ornithine and chromium-vanadium (4 to on3 ratio), all-whole-grain, predominantly complex carbs and methionine & cysteine -and- all the B's and lipotropics to do this.. or fat burning will not be optimal for most people. Be careful on the first three as they can add to BP. The second two amines, argand ornith should balance this however.
If you add all organic, do NOT go high protein if over 40, and emphasize WHOLE grains only, then it will be a lot easier. Chitosan and pysllium fibre are good for this effect too.
Once stabilized you can cut back on the amines, but supping the chrome-vanad seem a good thing as most diets are deficient of this. If you don't take zinc and copper, your B's will not effect. If you don't take the meth-cyst, you could get homocysteine overload.
Lack of proper methylation may be one of the causes of HD.
Why supplement? Because people do not diet properly. They cheat and forget to eat balanced. It is vital insurance, and in any therapy program you really need the levels that supps give you.
