Absolutely. It would raise the image of the US back to where it used to be and help us in everything from combating 'terrorism' to getting support for other activities in the world.

As it is, Americans are thoroughly and understandably cynical. The 'law' is a complete and utter embarrassment and the 'rule of law' is nothing but a quaint concept from days gone by.
