Maybe

I think all the dollar bears should listen to Jim Walker from CLSA. The main takeaway for the dollar bears is that China is wed to Treasuries and won't be increasing gold bullion holdings quickly

For those that might want to pooh-pooh this economist, IMO he has some great slides, he is straightforward and more one-sided than most economists, and CLSA is probably one of the top economic research shops covering China (from HK I might add)

Its 59mins long so draw yourself a coffee/tea, soda/juice or beer/wine or maybe something stronger depending on how your PF has done and listen up

Jim Walker is chief economist at CLSA Asia–Pacific Markets. Previously, he worked as a research fellow at the Fraser of Allander Institute and then at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was responsible for coverage of the oil industry and the U.S. economy. Well known as “Dr. Jim,” Dr. Walker has been named the Best Economist in Asia for 11 consecutive years in the Asiamoney Brokers Poll. He is best known for his coverage of Hong Kong and China and is widely recognized as one of the first to predict the 1997 Asian crisis. Dr. Walker received a BA and PhD in economics from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
