The WMD lie was clearly just that A LIE and not A MISTAKE. How is that clear? It's clear in Bush's actions before and during the invasion as well as in his arguments about WMDs. You do not argue that aluminum tubes were for centrifuges when experts clearly said they were of the wrong size and had the wrong coating. You do not argue that a weather balloon truck is a biological weapons factory. You do not argue that there are WMDs and fail to go after them in favor of the Oil Ministry. You do not talk about mushroom clouds and 40 minutes to launch and tramp steamers and drones when they are made-up propaganda points as opposed to arguments made from evidence. You have to be gullible beyond all belief to think that the WMD arguments were a mistake. "He has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction.
