I am on record here advocating "Vespa Nation." <G> We love our SUVs. That is a big capital investment which people won't relinquish easily. I think some 50%-60% of the 20 or so MM BPD of crude consumption in the US goes to transportation. I would venture to guess we could knock about 3MM BPD out by going to the heavy scooter/light car approach and putting the SUVs up on blocks. What does a Vespa cost anyway?
