Yes and no. I think that many nations see the value of France instead of their worthlessness. As a undeserving Security Council member, they can be bought and bribed much less expensively than any of the other permanent members. Beyond that, they make some excellent wines.

I too love the environment. There is no good reason we cannot drill more off shore. For instance Cuba is now drilling for oil between Cuba an Florida. If we allow them, they will extract the available oil, and our available resources will be depleted to the benefit of a tyranny.
