If Iraq was forced to import refined products, than its misleading to say "Iraq's oil imports". That is absolutely the least important aspect of the article. If the problems in Iraq were only about semantics. Here is the key statement: "Even though Iraq has the world's third-largest proven oil reserves, it is forced to depend on imports because of an acute shortage of refined products such as gasoline, kerosene and cooking gas. Sabotage of pipelines by insurgents, corruption and aging refineries have been blamed." Tim, gets your head out of the sand. We don't need reasonably intelligent people making excuses for Iraq.
