Hell, what the hell is NK but the most terrorist regime in the history of man and we need to settle with them too.

Uh.. why do WE need to settle with them?

It would seem to me that Seoul and Pyongyang need to settle their differences.

Our only purpose in being involved in the first place is because we are currently the guarantors of S. Korea's security against NK aggression.

As far as I'm concerned, the nations in that region, to include China, need to step forward and take more of an initiative in dealing with NK.

Personally, I have no desire to overthrow the "Dear Son" since NK doesn't border our country and economically speaking, I don't see NK posing a threat to the global economy (not in the manner as the oil-laden Middle East does).

I certainly do not believe we should "personalize" the situation by making it a bi-lateral negotiation.

But in the case of Iran and Syria, we're seeing them export their aggression throughout the region and I see Islamic militancy as a far greater threat than some re-emergence of Stalinist-style communism.
