Thank you somuch for the thread. We must keep on the ball. Finally the stock seems to have busted out of the dolldrums. The kind of buying we saw yesterday must have been an institutional buyer... just what the doctor ordered. a few questions. 1. Worms 2 - when is it expected to be mastered, released and who does the info come from? 2. Anyone remember the kind of royalties SBYT gets for Worms 2. I remember that these were different in Europe and the US. 3. Let's try to make a model on their earnings this quarter... I hate to say it but I fear that we are under break-even. Here are my revenue fields let's fill them in. A. X-Com: 200'000 * 40.00 = 8 mm. (coy I don't think they wholesale at $49 also 235k may be a bit aggressive.) B. Conquer Sky and World 75'000 * 20.00 = 1.5mm. C. MTG Expansion 50'000 * 25.00 = 1.2mm. (I expect that they are booking all shipments to Q2'97 and that the real buying will be the Gold in Q3 once manalink is alive and kicking.) D. 7th Legion 100'000 * 35.00 = 3.5mm. (Again booking all shipments to Q2 - Is it a DOG ? I hope not. This will lower gross margins as its licensed (53% on the quarter). E. MacSoft - Civ 60k, MOO2 15k 75'000 * 35.00 = 2.5mm. (Low margin) F. Civ2 + GP2 125'000 * 35.00 = 4.2mm (Oh my Love, my Daaaaarling) G. Distribution = 2.5mm Total = 23.4mm GPM (53%) = 11.7 mm. As you all know SBYT needs 13.5 million to cover costs this makes a 1.8mm Loss or a 0.06 EPS. What do you all think? David
