Faris, you speculations are well thought out taking in consideration minute aspects of each potential equation that is brought up.

I would just like to remind others on this thread, that Faris did say speculation as in nothing definate. I am not sure I agree with him on this rumor issue. Where did Amoco suddenly come from.

Let us remember, that we do not know about any acumulation by a group in Abu Dhabi and we do not know about any buyout or offer on half.

I am long AIPN, because I am confident that the company is being run well, and future scope is positive with current projects.

Speculation is fun, but let us not forget that reality is not composed of a lot of "ifs"

If oil in Caspian basin is as prolific as data shows, 10000 ft down should not be necessary before strike. Remember that US wells are deeper, because all or most of the shallow reservoirs are tapped. Better technology allows us to go deeper.

What are the depths of the test wells done by the Russians?
