I've got one for you.

I took a motorcycle safety course in Lewiston, ID this past weekend (I passed, by the way).

One of the instructors is a 60ish guy who's been riding for 42 years.

At any rate, the course materials contained a quote from Will Rogers:

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

At any rate, this instructor says, "does everyone know who Will Rogers is?"

A couple of teenagers in the class say "no." (I will refrain from commenting on how our schools are failing our kids by not teaching them who Will Rogers was).

So the instructor says, "well, he was an actor, who got into politics, and tried to change the government." I'm saying, huh?

Then, and this is the best part, he says, "he got into TV, and was married to this woman, Dale Evans, and had a horse named Trigger."

I about split a gut, but I wanted to pass the course, so I kept my damn mouth shut.

Imagine that, Will Rogers and Dale Evans and Trigger the horse.
