Re: Restriction of patents to "apply to", or be "licensed for", only CDMA The patents are not restricted to CDMA. It is irrelevant for IPR purposes that the same inventions can be utilized in multiple types of wireless systems. The restrictions imposed by the licensor (Qualcomm) apply only to the authorized uses to which the specific patents can be put by various licensees.
