<Nothing like the cheap crap you find in the hardware stores today.>

its all landfill

my brushed nickel locks wear out in 6 months and they werent cheap, my builder friend says for some products 50% of what lands is unsaleable but they still turn a profit, I bought a coffee table from Levitz (the salesman said 'from Oregon' but the bottom said 'Made in China') and it was all bashed up, when I went to the exchange center in Seattle the guy said that they do a lot of Chinese furniture returns and the fragile way the make them and the susceptibility to damage at sea is why the sales price is so despite the cost being low

I would like to see the Chinese make the high end stuff though, like $500 for a pane of cast glass for a shower or deck railing?? wrought iron gates are as insanely priced. where's China on that?
