hasn't Xie been comically wrong a lot? he said crude would crash like two years ago. he said China would crash umpteen times. anybody who paid attention to him has left a lot of money on the table. i remember last year he was making all kinds of ridiculous claims about declining oil demand in China.

of course, in the perverse ways of the market, every stopped clock gets to be right now and then, and maybe it is his time to be "right".
