I had a very nice dream about you last night.
I dreamed that you were retired from a metal foundry that you had started, and that we attended a lecture together and afterwards we and several others went to the board room to sit around and talk. It was in a very large industrial style building, very modern.
Your son was now the person in charge but we didn't really interact with him.
Your business made a large range of items, from custom airplane parts to coins, using a variety of techniques, including casting, stamping, and grinding. Nice, clean, spacious, airy place, clean operation.
No idea what it means.
The only possible clue is that my husband and I struck up a conversation at a brew pub in Richmond with another couple, and the man talked about his uncle, who used to have an iron foundry that was eventually shut down for environmental reasons and you used to work for EPA. That could be the connection but not necessarily.
It did look like a very nice business. I used to love working in printing, making things that people could use. Some of the larger companies prided themselves on very clean, modern operations, beautiful buildings, and so forth. The last one I worked at in NO was right by the Industrial Canal, one of the areas destroyed when the levees broke after Katrina. My brother and I (the one who has cancer now) drove around that area looking for it but it was gone. |
