Actually, you are a day late... siliconinvestor.com SA has never hit 10mbd. Croft's list of historical oil production peaks includes Saudi Arabia peaking at 9.64 mbpd in '81, vs. 8.86 in '04. Are his numbers accurate? If so does that indicate that the earlier "peak" was simply good supply management by the Saudi's and not a true peak, since obviously the '81 "peak" has now been surpassed? If so, is that also true for a number of the other "historical peaks" that Croft lists? theoildrum.com
