No, I'm not saying that. I'm sure Nokia has got serious technical chops.

Product design has a lot to do with success in the cell phone market as well, including the design of the user interface.

What I was saying is that as far as the guts of a cell phone go, there are a number of asian manufacturers making cell phones, and I'd be willing to bet that a lot of the components required for building them would be available to a company that has the kind of money Apple has.

With their expertise in product and interface design, and with components available from third parties, I'm sure Apple could put a swinging cell phone together.
