It is just that every wine I have personally tried with a bottle cap can only be described as abominable. Snobbery has nothing to do with it. Taste has everything to do with it. If you have enough pride to make a good wine, you have enough pride to put a cork on it. My favorite liquor store is full of great wines with regular corks for less than $20.
