Exactly! Some people attempt to justify copping out as a "reason". When, in fact the children are their responsibility. The poor me story of having to work doesn't cut it because the vast majority of those instances in my neighborhood are not a "have to" situation but a 'prefer to" thing. If both parents find it important or worthwhile to work, fine with me. Just don't forget about "your" kids in the process.

The education system in the USA has failed us in many respects. We all get some credit for this. We've been overly tolerant of the school administrators, the boards and those teachers who are incompetent in the work or have a political cross to bear.
