The dollar relative to other currencies fails to capture the overall devaluation of the fiat currencies. So it's appropriate that commodities increase at a much greater rate than the dollar falls against, say, the Yen or Euro.

And the overall debt of the Euro is greater than the overall debt to dollar... Yes... Bush, Reagan (trickle down), Nixon economics are a play at the moment but overall... Europe is in worse shape.

You know, most people don't know this but American are paid much less than those in Europe... about 33% less given the benefits yet we work longer hours and produce more.
