People should be judged by their behavior. Based on this criteria, the problem Israel creates for itself is that Israeli behavior and terrorist behavior are both murder -- so you get to chose which of these two murderous groups you like better. I don't like either of them. If Israel was not murdering people I would be deeply sympathetic to their plight. So would most people in the world, IMO. But as it is most people are indifferent to the plight of Israel. What tips the scales for me is simple -- Israel commits murder. There is no defense in saying that terrorists also commit murder -- unless of course your goal is to establish that Israel is no better than a terrorist.
