More dumbing down of America? Sounds nuts to me. It was meant to be a serious political debate; and dumbed down it was. I suspect that's all the Rep leadership in the House can do right now. I think Feith's outfit in the Pentagon is either disbanded (since he left) or ineffective; so there is not counter intelligence agency around. Frankly, I don't think the degree of lack of reality in political debates has ever been this bad; certainly not in my lifetime.
