I think that point is dead on target. Least able cause of advanced age or don't care to mess with the headaches of RE cause they are filthy rich already and prefer more passive investments that generate income.

A big factor going forward is how the boomers of well off parents spend the inheritance. Sounds like more luxuries and spending by the well heeled so don't expect any depression on Park Avenue, in Newport, Palm Beach or Beverly Hills..
